For a time, it also housed the town gaol and a credit institution; it subsequently became the site of the primary schools and the public library. For several years now, it has been home to the Busca Municipal Music Institute.




Overlooking Della Rossa square, the building served as the Town Hall from 1762, when the municipality was granted the title of ‘City’ by Duke Carlo Emanuele III of Savoy, as a token of gratitude for the loyalty shown during the war with France.
